Every seat you're eligible for, banded round by round.
Compass puts each seat you're eligible for into one of four bands — Safe, Average, Touch & Go or Aspirational — separately for Round 1, Round 2, Round 3 (mop-up) and the stray round. The bands come from the last two years of closing ranks. Where a seat doesn't have both years, it says “not enough history” instead of guessing.

What Compass does today
- A band for every round
- Each seat gets one of four bands — Safe, Average, Touch & Go or Aspirational — shown separately for Round 1, Round 2, Round 3 (mop-up) and the stray round.
- Only real numbers
- Every figure it shows traces to a real past closing rank, and a validator checks every answer.
- Only the seats you're eligible for
- Seats are filtered by your category and domicile. PwD seats need the MCC-recognised certificate, and Compass confirms that each session.
- Your ranks, kept apart
- All-India rank, state merit rank, in-service and institutional preference are never mixed.
- Your own state's seats
- Add your state merit rank and domicile, and your own state's quota seats are banded too.
- An ordered choice list
- Compass builds the list for you and warns you about problems in it as you go.
- Fees with the bond beside them
- Ask about money and the fee always comes with the bond next to it, and it tells you when deposits are refunded.
- Words and names, explained
- 25 counselling terms — freeze, float, upgrade and more — explained with citations. A short or ambiguous name like “GMC” brings up a list to choose from, never a guess.
When it doesn't know, it says so
Counselling season is full of rumours and confident guesses. A band you can trace, and a plain “we don't know” when there isn't enough to go on, is worth more than a number someone made up.
- Where a seat doesn't have closing ranks from both of the last two years for the same round, you see “not enough history” instead of a band. Only two years of data exist, so you'll see it often.
- If your filters leave nothing, Compass tells you it doesn't hold that — it won't stretch to show you something else.
- It covers NEET PG counselling only. Ask about INI-CET or AYUSH and it says plainly that it doesn't cover them.

Questions
Is this an official prediction?
No. Compass gives guidance from past allotments, not a guarantee. Always confirm with the official MCC and state counselling notices. Evogyan is not affiliated with MCC, NBEMS, NMC or any state counselling authority.
Why do some rounds say “not enough history”?
A band needs the seat's closing rank from both of the last two years for the same round. Where one is missing, Compass says so instead of guessing. Only two years of data exist, so you'll see it often.
Does it cover my state?
Add your state merit rank and domicile, and your own state's quota seats are banded too. Seats without two years of history for a round show “not enough history”.
Do I need my state rank?
No. You can start with your All-India rank. Add your state merit rank if you have one, and your state's quota seats are banded too.
What does it cost?
Nothing. Free during testing — no payments are taken.
